That combo made Hard Case Crime the perfect venue for this book, which is one of my favorites. I also loved the paperbacks I grew up with as a kid, and for that reason, we're going to hold off on e-publishing this one for the time being. Joyland will be coming out in paperback, and folks who want to read it will have to buy the actual book. - Stephen King

Author: Stephen King
Publisher: Hard Case Crime
Published: 06/04/2013
Pages: 288
Binding Type: Paperback
Weight: 0.55lbs
Size: 8.20h x 5.20w x 0.80d
ISBN: 9781781162644

Accelerated Reader:
Reading Level: 5.2
Point Value: 12
Interest Level: Upper Grade
Quiz #/Name: 162341 / Joyland

Award: Anthony Awards - Nominee
Award: Edgar Allan Poe Awards - Nominee

Review Citation(s):
Publishers Weekly 04/08/2013
Library Journal 05/01/2013 pg. 74
Booklist 05/01/2013 pg. 31
Entertainment Weekly 05/31/2013 pg. 138
New York Times Book Review 06/23/2013 pg. 10
Kirkus Reviews 11/15/2013
Kirkus Best Fiction 11/15/2013 pg. 22

About the Author
Stephen King was born in Portland, Maine in 1947, the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King.
