Fiction about a family leaving Denmark coming to Canada just before the Depression and World War Two. Carlos dies and Carl goes to war, returns and goes to Toronto to work. He meets his future wife, Nicole, a real estate agent. There are ensuing weddings, births, funerals and all kinds of family issues. The story ends in New Denmark.
