About the Author
Polo Orozco (he/him) is an editor, translator, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in sunny Jalisco, Mexico, on a hearty diet of magical realism, Animal Planet docuseries, and Almodóvar melodramas.

Mirelle Ortega is a Mexican author/illustrator for kidlit and animation based in Los Angeles, California. She's best known for receiving the 2023 Pura Belpré Award Honor for illustration on her debut picture book MAGIC, ONCE UPON A FARAWAY LAND.
