About the Author

April Pulley Sayre and Steve Jenkins have collaborated on these highly praised books: Vulture View, Eat Like a Bear, and Woodpecker Wham!

April is the author of more than sixty books for young readers, including Honk, Honk, Goose!, Raindrops Roll, and Here Come the Humpbacks! She lives in Indiana with her husband and a yard full of squirrels.

Steve has illustrated many celebrated books, including the Caldecott Honor book What Do You Do With a Tail Like This?, which he created with his wife, Robin Page. They live in Boulder, Colorado, with their three children.
