About the Author
Ruth Rogers Clausen is the author of 50 Beautiful Deer-Resistant Plants, Essential Perennials, and The Proven Winners Garden Book. She received a Quill and Trowel Award from the Garden Writers Association and has written for the American Garden Guides series.
Gregory D. Tepper is a horticulturist at the West Laurel Hill Cemetery. Previously he worked at Mt. Cuba Center and the Deleware Botanic Garden. A native plant enthusiast since age thirteen, he studied horticulture at the University of Delaware and went on to start his own business designing and managing private gardens.
