Katerine with no h is a mother trying desperately to free her husband. They all exist at the margins of society and are related by a singular routine: on Sundays, they visit someone in jail. Their pilgrimage is shared by other Afro-Caribbean women like them, coming together in their weekly appointment to visit a son, a grandson, an ex-husband. And it's at that gathering point where this book comes to life.

Yurieth Romero. Es una escritora y guionista de cine y televisi?n afrocolombiana nacida en la ciudad de Santa Marta. Como guionista ha coescrito varias series dirigidas a la televisi?n p?blica, que han sido premiadas en su pa?s. Fue becaria del programa Potencia ?tnica Audiovisual de la Corporaci?n Manos Visibles en la maestr?a de Gesti?n Cultural y Producci?n Audiovisual de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogot?, y es la fundadora de la productora La Caracola Films. Las visitantes es un proyecto transmedia compuesto por un libro de cuentos, una serie de televisi?n y una pel?cula.
