About the Author
Isamu Sasagawa is a Japanese origami artist. He graduated from the College of Art, University of Tsukuba. While working as a writer for children's programs and animation scripts, he became active as a picture book author. Additionally, as a "hobbyist- engineer," he publishes origami models and other easy crafts made from everyday (but unusual) materials such as mandarin oranges, wet towels and paper cups on YouTube and his blog. He has published several books on the subject of origami.
