The debut single from DFW's Silver Skylarks is a rambunctious, heavy funk heater that sets the tone with hard breaks, punchy brass, propulsive bass and tasteful vocal refrains from the singing duo, Us. The track grooves with the choice guitar playing of the Black Pumas bandleader/producer Adrian Quesada. The flip side continues the Skylarks' love affair with 80s hip-hop by rearranging the original and tweaking the mix to perfectly suit the guest vocals of undisputed legend Kool G Rap. G Rap's vocals deftly dance all over the quick-paced remix and the vibe is enhanced with the turntable work of Menace the DJ.
